Bridge girders
The railway bridge girders were fabricated for Eastern Railway as steel girders rated for rail loads.
Projects completed
Girders for Eastern Railway, a 50 m road bridge for the Government of Sikkim, and the through-truss spans built in the Kolkata yard.
Register
An order starts with the client’s drawings and inspection schedule. The yard writes a quality assurance plan for the job, cuts and assembles the members and inspects each stage against that plan. The girder is then blast cleaned, painted and dispatched for erection on site. Select a photograph to see it full size.
The company’s register of bridge girder works, 31 completed and 13 ongoing, is on the Projects page, with a map of India that shows, approximately, where each of the 44 works lies: the works map and the full register by railway zone.
